Thank You

So this is 40… And after the celebration, here comes the Thank You Note.

I just want to give my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, and most especially to those who helped me make this event happen.

My main reason why I really wanted this celebration to push through is to thank God for everything that has happened to me. From letting me be here in the US, keeping me financially blessed even with all these tuition and lawyer fees, surrounding me with friends and family, and friends who became family, who have kept me blessed as I live alone because God knows I need you all to keep myself sane and sustained. And of course, for the second life He gave me after the malpractice. Every one of you I invited became a part of this journey.

But with all the hardships and trials that you helped me get through, I had to celebrate the fact that blessings are coming my way. In the Bible, 40 is a big number, most of the stories we know are after the trials, blessings come.

Here is what I exactly mean…

Now this is also a celebration of what’s coming. I am excited for what God has for me as I embark on this new chapter of my life, finishing my 40th revolve around the sun and starting my 41st year ready to accept the Lord’s new blessings.

As we end this celebration, I hope you leave with your stomach full and your heart happy. I pray that after this, you will see the goodness of God in my life. And if He can bless me with all of these, plus the hope and joy He put in my heart, He can do it for you too.

So thank you, God bless, and please pray with me as I start this, what they say… “Life begins at 40!”

P.S. I know most of you want the same thing for me for my birthday — that I may find the man God has for me. I am still not losing hope, and I ask you to never stop praying for that. ☺️ He’s just out there!
